LOGISTICAL ARRANGEMENTS – DURBAN TRIP UPDATE
- Please note that the schedule for the Durban Tour has been moved by One Day due to the planned Strike Action in KZN.
- Also note the following important information:
· Departure Date from Noordwyk Secondary School: 01 July 2026
· Departure Time: 04h00 (in the morning)
· Arrival Back at School: 04 July 2026
· Arrival Time Back at School: 17h00
· Total Cost for Durban Tour: R5000.00
· Closing Dates for Payments: 25 June 2026 at 16h00
***NB: Please note that late payment WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Parents who decide to pay late regardless of this communicated closing date wlill have their money credited on their school fees account.***
PARENTS MEETING – DURBAN TOUR
- Parents whose children will be attending the Durban Tour are requested to attend a Short Preportory Meeting in respect of the following:
· Date: Saturday, 20 June 2026
· Venue: Noordwyk Secondary School.
Time: 09h00
Purpose of the Meeting: Collect Indemnity Forms and Medical Questionnaire.
Provide More Information To Parents About The Tour.

TOUR PACKAGE
- Please be reminded that the R5000.00 caters to the following:
· Transport To and From Durban
· 3 Nights Stay at Pavillion Hotel, South Beach
· Day Tours to: Moses Mabida Stadium ; Durban Botanical Gardens ; CITY BUS Tour
· Activities: Boat Cruise (Indian Ocean - ALL WHITE THEME)
· Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Every Day (Snacks and Lunch will be on Learners OWN Account)
DRESS CODE
- Bring Along School Golf Shirt, School Track Suit (required from uShaka Marine World as part of Package)
- RESPECTFUL Swimwear, Cover-Ups
- Sunglasses, Caps/Sunhats, Towels and Sunscreens
CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONICS
- Learners are allowed to bring Cell Phones at their own risk.
- THE SCHOOL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST OR BROKEN CELLPHONES.
- All POPIA Regulations must be observed:
NO UNAUTHORISED FILMING / SOCIAL MEDIA POSTING / PHOTO’S of other learners or educators on tour will be allowed unless permission is granted by such person to be filmed or have his/her photo taken.

GRADE 12 WINTER SCHOOL
- Grade 12 Parents are requested to ensure that their children attend Grade 12 Winter School In Respect of The Following:
· Date: TBA (when learners return from Durban Trip)
· Venue: Noordwyk Secondary School
· Subjects: All Grade 12 Subjects Will Be Taught on Alternating Basis
· Cost: Parents are requested to make a R750 Contribution towards the Winter School Camp
NB: The R750 will also be credited onto the School Fees Account and will assist in covering costs associated with the camp.
JUNE EXAMINATIONS / SUPPLEMENTARY EXAM
- Parents of Learners who missed any Exam for any reasons and for any subject are requested to send their children to school between 08h00 – 12h00 to write a supplementary exam.
- Learners will be given until the 24th of June 2026.
SCHOOL FEES
- Please be reminded that parents whose School Fees Accounts are in Arrears are requested to make immediate payment to avoid issues upon issuing of Reporting Cards on the 25th and 26th of July 2026
- Please also note: the school will not keep reports for over 2 months for parents to collect. The reports will be kept for 7 Days and there after Parents will only get a report in 3rd term. We have large amounts of parents that do not come to collect reports on time or in a reasonable amount of time. The 31st of July 2026 will be the last day for collection of term 2 reports. Parents are also requested to take responsibility of reports as we will not be re-printing reports due to loss or damage.
